I [heart] links.

O.M.G. check out this link. Old pictures of babies being held my their mothers who are obscured by blankets. CREEEEEEEPY yet fascinating. Here are some more, also via Cup of Jo.

Yes, yes, yes, when they are old enough to appreciate balloons.

Who knew a grocery store could lend such an adorable setting?

So, there’s a discussion on this board that I frequent (I can’t link to it — it’s subscription-based) about potty training prior to age 3. The woman who started it is trying to start the process with her 9 month old! Which I think is ridiculous, but a lot of people started posting that waiting until 3 is a fairly recent thing, that most babies were potty trained by about 18 months 30 or 40 years ago, and that a lot of cultures start around a year old. There are schools of thought that say that the window to potty training opens much earlier than 3 years old and if you take advantage of that, you can get the job done pretty early. To which I said to myself, hmmmm. Really. No more changing diapers? No more BUYING diapers? Intriguing. We might be looking into this soon.

I have a friend who fills her daughter’s bedroom ceiling with balloons while she’s sleeping – I want to do it for Danielle someday… maybe when she has a birthday party like this:

I am loving the links you’re posting here. Would rather have pictures of the twins, but these links keep me entertained while I wait. Except that first one… wow, I can’t get the grimace off my face after seeing those photos. (By the way, the 2nd link wouldn’t work for me.) Anyway, THANKS!
